Dar es Salaam, September 22, 2024: Empowering our healthcare team to make a lasting impact! Over two intensive days on September 20th and 21st, Aga Khan Health Service, Tanzania, healthcare workers from various departments completed a comprehensive Gender-Based Violence Case Management Training organised by the Choice Project. This specialised training equipped them with the essential skills to provide compassionate, informed support to survivors, ensuring a holistic and sensitive approach to addressing gender-based violence.
Now proudly recognised as #GBVChampions, our team is better prepared to advocate for survivors, offering medical care and emotional and social support. Their dedication underscores our commitment to #EndGBV, creating safer, more resilient communities. We are immensely proud of our #HealthcareHeroes, who remain true #ChampionsForChange.

Aga Khan Health Service, Tanzania (AKHS,T) is a pivotal agency within the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), dedicated to advancing health initiatives. Operating as a private, not-for-profit organisation, AKHS,T has established itself as an integrated health system spanning across Tanzania.
